Desktop and mobile applications, extensions and specialised integrations are quoted to an agreed scope. Bring your intended first release; the estimate makes deliverables and responsibilities explicit.
A written estimate for your project
Applications and developer tools vary in platform requirements, integrations, data handling and distribution. Astra Devs quotes the agreed work rather than publishing a price that assumes your scope. Describe the users, target platforms, first useful release, budget and deadline. Scope review establishes whether the studio is a suitable fit.
Reviewable stages and acceptance
The proposal identifies deliverables, dependencies, milestones and acceptance criteria. Where appropriate, start with a small release and evaluate it before expanding. Discovery or technical investigation is scoped and priced in the proposal when required; it is not automatically included without charge.
Changes to scope
Additional functionality and changed requirements are estimated and agreed in writing before that work begins. Payment stages, delivery dates and responsibilities are set out in the project agreement.
Ownership and handover
The agreement identifies ownership or licensing of deliverables, third-party components, source access, documentation and handover. These terms are established before work starts, rather than inferred from a portfolio example.
Operating costs and ongoing support
Hosting, model/API usage, app-store accounts, signing, supplier services, maintenance and support can create ongoing costs. The proposal identifies who pays and operates each service. Ongoing work is separately agreed; a development quote does not imply unlimited support or included provider usage.
